Known for his romantic-hero persona and sleek fashion sense, he quickly followed this success with blockbusters like "Ma Yesto Geet Gaunchhu," "Shatru Gate," and "Bir Bikram 2." His on-screen chemistry with actress Pooja Sharma remains one of the most celebrated partnerships in modern Kollywood history.

In his personal life, Shah’s career faced a significant hiatus starting in early 2022 due to a high-profile legal case that sparked intense national debate and media scrutiny. Following a period of incarceration, he was acquitted of the major charges by the Pokhara High Court and released in February 2023, an event marked by massive public support in his hometown and across social media. Since his return, he has focused on rebuilding his career, making a strong comeback with music videos and returning to the silver screen in projects. Beyond acting, he has been active in social work through the Paul Shah Foundation, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
