The series
In Kashgar, landlord Osman offers Anarxan as a concubine to Commissioner Emin, but she resists, loving Qurban. Her refusal triggers persecution by Osman. Meanwhile, Emin and Inspector Masha oppose the Communist Party's advance, while Raxman aids the People's Liberation Army, believing in a better future. The villagers unite against oppressive landlords, paving the way for a new life. (Source: MyDramaList) ~~ Remake of the Uyghur movie "Anarhan" (阿娜尔罕) [1962], based on a real-life story.
