At a fan event in Paris, several famous wizards gathered for a magical reunion. Tom Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, shared a selfie where he sports a Slytherin scarf, surrounded by cast members from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises.
The group includes Jamie Campbell Bower, who’s been terrorizing Hawkins as Vecna in Stranger Things, but in the wizarding world, he portrayed young Grindelwald in a brief scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and again in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. In the latter, he shared the role with Johnny Depp, his Sweeney Todd co-star, who played the older version of the dark wizard.
“Wizarding World selfie,” Felton captioned the post. Joining him were Slytherin alumni Scarlett Byrne (Pansy Parkinson) and Louis Cordice (Blaise Zabini). Gryffindor had one representative: Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan (hopefully he didn’t blow anything up!). Representing Bulgaria’s magical society were Stanislav Yanevski and Predrag Bjelac, who portrayed Viktor Krum and Igor Karkaroff in The Goblet of Fire. Bjelac, by the way, is Serbian. Rounding out the group was an American Muggle—sorry, No-Maj—Dan Fogler, who played the lovable Jacob Kowalski in the Fantastic Beasts films.
The actors also posed for photos with fans at the event. Although she didn’t make it into Felton’s selfie or the video below, Natalia Tena, known for playing Tonks (who, fun fact, is Draco’s cousin), was also present at the gathering.
