David Corenswet stars as John Tuggle, the player selected dead last by the New York Giants in the 1983 NFL Draft. Expected to disappear almost immediately, Tuggle instead fights his way onto the team and earns the respect of first-year head coach Bill Parcells, played by Michael Shannon.
Isabel May also stars in the inspiring true story, directed by Jonathan Levine. What begins as a classic sporting underdog tale ultimately becomes something much more personal — a story about proving your worth when everyone has already decided what you’re capable of.
