A new trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero has arrived online, and the sequel to Godzilla Minus One looks ready to drag postwar survival into an even darker moral crisis.
Takashi Yamazaki returns as director, writer and visual effects lead, following the historic success of Godzilla Minus One, which won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. That makes the title feel especially cruel. Minus One was already about a Japan pushed below zero — traumatised, ruined and barely able to rebuild.
