Here Are the Nominees for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards!

The nominees for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards have been announced, showcasing a strong lineup of contenders in film and television. Some favorites emerged as expected, with Wicked earning multiple nominations alongside Challengers, which received four. However, The Substance, one of the year's standout horror or horror-comedy films, leads the pack with five nominations, tied with Sean Baker's Anora.

The surprises include Conclave, a papal thriller starring Ralph Fiennes, securing six nominations, while Adrien Brody's historical drama The Brutalist landed seven. Leading the list is the French musical Emilia Pérez with a record-breaking 10 nominations. Even Gladiator II appears among the nominees, thanks to Denzel Washington’s powerful performance.

Among TV series, a notable highlight is The Penguin, which earned nominations in three categories: Best Limited Series, Best Actor for Colin Farrell, and Best Actress for Cristin Milioti. Kathryn Hahn also stands out with her nomination for Agatha All Along in the Marvel lineup. Other expected contenders include The Bear, Abbott Elementary, Baby Reindeer, and Shōgun, which is a strong contender for Best Drama Series of 2024.

The winners will be announced on Sunday, January 5, 2025, with results made public early Monday morning.
