In recent years, Disney has been churning out live-action remakes of its successful animated films. These often feature the archetype of the "Prince Charming," or the "knight in shining armor." While he’s not always blonde, and doesn’t always ride a white horse, you get the idea! Disney is now producing a film centered on this character, titled Prince Charming, with the involvement of Wonka director Paul King. According to Deadline, the studio is already in talks with a familiar face—the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Chris Hemsworth, one of their biggest stars, to play the lead role. Hemsworth, known for portraying Thor, Tyler Rake, and the villain in Furiosa, is no stranger to the world of fairy tales. He starred alongside Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron (the "older Furiosa") in the 2012 Snow White and the Huntsman adaptation.
