Lanterns | Official Teaser
HBO Max unveils the first teaser for Lanterns, a new DC series exploring the cosmic side of the universe.
The DC Universe is expanding once again — this time into deeper cosmic territory.
The first teaser for Lanterns offers a glimpse at the upcoming HBO Max project centered on the legendary Green Lantern mythology. Rather than focusing solely on spectacle, the preview hints at a more grounded narrative built around mystery and investigation.
The project has been described as blending superhero storytelling with elements of a detective drama. That approach could bring a fresh tone to the expanding DC slate, positioning the show somewhere between large-scale science fiction and character-driven crime storytelling.
While the teaser keeps many plot details under wraps, it establishes an atmosphere of tension and intrigue. For longtime comic fans, the series represents a major step in bringing one of DC’s most iconic cosmic narratives to television.
As superhero storytelling continues evolving, this new series could become a significant piece of the DC Universe’s next chapter.
