Lucy Hale’s home looks considerably less like a celebrity showpiece and much more like somewhere she genuinely wants to disappear from the world.
The Pretty Little Liars star takes Architectural Digest through her colourful 1940s Los Angeles home, redesigned with Marie Trohman and Ashley Drost of Proem Studio. Hale describes the finished look as “moody, femme,” with a pink sofa, burgundy kitchen, vintage pieces, tarot cards and plenty of slightly witchy details — plus regular appearances from her dogs Elvis and Ethel.
Hale says she wanted the house to reflect the woman she has grown into, rather than follow whatever interior trend happened to be fashionable. Considering she also has an unnamed sheep sculpture, Elvis memorabilia and a piece of art she calls Doris watching over the house, mission accomplished.
