A new trailer for MobLand Season 2 has arrived, and Harry Da Souza is once again standing in the worst possible place: right between powerful criminals, family betrayal and a war that refuses to stay quiet.
Tom Hardy returns as Harry, the street-smart fixer who knows exactly how dangerous the Harrigan family can be. Season 1 introduced him as the man who could clean up almost any mess, but Season 2 appears ready to test whether even Harry can keep this empire from tearing itself apart.
The new season brings back Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan and Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, the ruthless power couple at the centre of the family’s criminal world. After the violence, secrets and shifting loyalties of the first season, the Harrigans are no longer simply fighting outside enemies. They are fighting themselves.
That makes the Season 2 setup especially sharp. Internal divisions, outside threats and unstable family politics are all closing in at once, while Harry tries to hold the line without becoming another casualty of the Harrigans’ ambition. In MobLand, loyalty is never just loyalty. It is leverage, currency and occasionally a death sentence.
The returning cast also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon and Jasmine Jobson, with Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond joining as series regulars. That gives the new season more room to expand the criminal chessboard while keeping the focus on the Harrigans’ increasingly dangerous grip on London.
For fans of crime series, MobLand Season 2 looks like a bigger, bloodier continuation of the show’s best ingredients: sharp suits, family rot, London underworld politics and Tom Hardy doing the calm, terrifying fixer thing better than almost anyone.
