Netflix Unwraps Its 2026 Christmas Movie Lineup
Dogs, gospel music, fake holiday romance and a Christmas time loop lead Netflix’s 2026 festive slate as Holiday Trailer Week previews four new seasonal movies.
Netflix has officially reached the point in the calendar where absolutely everything requires fairy lights.
The streamer’s 2026 Holiday Trailer Week teaser previews four new Christmas movies arriving between November and early December, covering everything from emotional family drama to romance, gospel music and a festive time loop.
First up is A Dog’s Perfect Christmas on November 4. Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia and Mary Steenburgen lead the family drama, with Thomas Haden Church voicing Winstead, a loyal basset hound trying to help a grieving household find its way back to one another.
Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas follows on November 11. Fantasia Barrino leads a huge musical ensemble in the story of a struggling pastor who inherits his family church and must rediscover his faith before Christmas.
November 18 brings Guarding Stars, pairing Leighton Meester with Jared Padalecki. She plays a no-nonsense bodyguard assigned to protect his charming action star over the holidays, which naturally becomes considerably less professional once romance enters the equation.
Finally, In a Holidaze arrives December 2 with Maddie Ziegler, Rob Lowe and Graham Phillips. Ziegler plays a directionless twentysomething forced to relive the same family Christmas after making one spectacularly bad romantic decision.
The teaser kicks off a full week of holiday reveals, with Netflix rolling out trailers and additional looks at its new festive movies.
Apparently Christmas starts in early November now. Netflix has spoken.
