[NEWS] Jamie Foxx Hit by a Glass at a Restaurant, Suffers Injury Requiring Medical Attention

Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx—known for his roles in films such as Ray (which earned him his Academy Award), Collateral, Miami Vice, Django Unchained, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as well as its follow-up Spider-Man: No Way Home—recently experienced a troubling incident. The 57-year-old actor, who recently opened up about his health struggles in the Netflix special Jamie Foxx: What Happened?, faced a new crisis during his birthday celebration on Friday at a Beverly Hills restaurant.

According to reports from CNN, the incident occurred around 10 PM when a glass was thrown from another table, striking Foxx in the face. The glass caused a laceration to his mouth, which required stitches. Initial investigations by the Beverly Hills Police Department suggested an attack, but it was later determined that the incident stemmed from an argument between two groups at the venue. As of now, no arrests have been made.

Foxx is reportedly "recovering" but has already addressed the situation on his social media, including Instagram, where he shared a heartfelt message:
