This year, Sebastian Stan was nominated for two Golden Globe categories: in the Best Actor in a Drama category, Adrien Brody ultimately prevailed with The Brutalist over Stan's portrayal of Trump. However, in the Musical/Comedy category, the Romanian-born actor won the award for A Different Man. Stan discussed these roles, as well as the upcoming Thunderbolts, where he returns to the MCU as Bucky Barnes, during an appearance on Seth Meyers' talk show.
Stan expressed that Marvel remains close to his heart, and without them, he wouldn’t be where he is today.
“I’ve been working with them for almost 15 years now, and I’ve practically grown up with Marvel. I’ve grown as an actor; this character is like a brother to me, someone I see every Thanksgiving. They’ve been so supportive, and honestly, I’m not sure I would’ve had these opportunities without them,” the actor said.
Thunderbolts will hit Hungarian cinemas on May 1. Alongside Stan, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus will also reprise their MCU roles in the film.
