Star Wars has released another official clip from The Mandalorian and Grogu, this time titled “Bring Me His Helmet” — and even before the action begins, that title already carries a very clear warning.
After years of defining the modern Star Wars television era on Disney+, Din Djarin and Grogu are heading to the big screen for a new theatrical adventure. The film continues their story in the New Republic era, after the fall of the Empire, when scattered Imperial warlords are still creating danger across the galaxy. As the New Republic tries to protect what the Rebellion fought for, Din and Grogu are pulled into the fight.
“Bring Me His Helmet” suggests a darker, more targeted threat than some of the lighter promotional clips. Din’s helmet has always been more than armour. It is part of his identity, his creed and the visual symbol of everything that makes the Mandalorian such a striking figure. So when someone demands it, the message is simple: this is not just about defeating him. It is about taking something personal.
That makes the clip an effective reminder that The Mandalorian and Grogu is not only selling cute Grogu chaos — although, naturally, we will take as much of that as the galaxy wants to give us. The film also appears to be leaning into bounty hunter tension, hostile forces and the wider instability still left behind by the Empire.
For fans of the series, the appeal remains the same but bigger: Din Djarin’s quiet intensity, Grogu’s unpredictable power, strange corners of the galaxy and a story that blends emotional loyalty with old-school Star Wars adventure. Moving that dynamic into cinemas gives the film a chance to expand the scale while keeping the relationship between Mandalorian and apprentice at the centre.
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu opens only in theaters and IMAX on May 22, 2026.
