Who better to explain Haunted Hotel than the immensely powerful demon who believes he’s the most important character in it?
Voiced by Jimmi Simpson, Abaddon speed-runs Season 1 from his own wonderfully biased perspective: Katherine inheriting the Undervale from her now-ghost brother Nathan, Esther experimenting with dark magic, Ben’s supernatural relationship problems, exorcists, ghost hunters, possessions and Abaddon’s brief career as an internet entrepreneur. Naturally, he gives himself most of the credit whenever anyone survives.
The recap ends with the cult attempting to free Abaddon from his human body — and accidentally triggering the apocalypse — which is a fairly useful reminder of where we left things. Haunted Hotel Season 2 checks back into Netflix on October 9, 2026.
