Sam Raimi is the producer of the thriller Locked, and its first trailer sets the stage: Bill Skarsgard (Nosferatu) plays a car thief, but unfortunately for him, he targets a luxury vehicle owned by a man who has set a trap to teach the criminal a lesson. The trap-setting character is portrayed by Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs), whose voice is primarily heard through the car’s speakers in the trailer, but he briefly appears in person in a short scene. The film is directed by David Yarovesky (Brightburn, Nightbooks), with the screenplay by Michael Arlen Ross (Fatal Turn, The Outcast), who adapted the 2019 Argentine thriller 4x4. The film is set to be released in the US on March 21, 2025.
