“I was addicted to chaos.”
Mike Tyson doesn’t appear interested in cleaning up his own story in Netflix’s new four-part documentary TYSON. The series traces his turbulent childhood in Brooklyn, becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history at just 20, and the fame, controversies and personal struggles that followed. Tyson himself sits down to confront that history alongside members of his family and inner circle.
Directed by Floyd Russ, TYSON promises a more reflective look at the man behind one of sport’s most intimidating public personas — including the personal cost of spending much of his life surrounded by fame and chaos. All four hour-long episodes arrive on Netflix October 13, 2026.
