The new trailer for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping throws Joseph Zada’s Haymitch into the 50th Hunger Games — the Second Quarter Quell, where the Capitol doubles the usual number of tributes to 48. Inside the arena, he forms an unlikely alliance with Maysilee Donner, played by Mckenna Grace, and begins looking for a way to fight back against President Snow’s system from within.
Francis Lawrence returns to direct, with Ralph Fiennes as Snow and a huge ensemble including Jesse Plemons, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, Glenn Close and Maya Hawke. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping arrives in theaters and IMAX on November 20, 2026.
