Netflix has released the official trailer for Season 3 of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black, and Kimmie’s dramatic rise to power has only made the Bellarie family more dangerous.
After the explosive events of Season 2, Kimmie is no longer the outsider struggling to survive inside the Bellaries’ world. She now holds a powerful position within the family’s business empire — and everyone around her appears to have an opinion about how long she deserves to keep it.
The new trailer makes it clear that taking control was only the beginning.
Old enemies are preparing their next moves, alliances remain dangerously unstable and members of the Bellarie family are still willing to manipulate, threaten and betray one another when money and influence are at stake.
Taylor Polidore Williams returns as Kimmie, whose transformation has become one of the defining elements of the series. Once trapped inside a system controlled by people far more powerful than herself, she is now learning how to operate from the opposite side of that power structure.
But becoming a Bellarie does not necessarily mean being accepted as one.
Mallory remains a formidable presence in Kimmie’s new life, and the uneasy relationship between the two women appears destined to become even more complicated. Cooperation may sometimes be necessary, but neither woman seems prepared to stop watching the other for signs of betrayal.
Crystle Stewart returns as Mallory alongside Amber Reign Smith as Rain, with the wider Bellarie family and their dangerous network once again caught inside the escalating conflict.
The trailer promises blackmail, confrontations, shifting loyalties and buried secrets capable of destabilising the entire empire. Even characters who temporarily appear to be fighting on the same side have their own ambitions — and in the Bellarie family, alliances rarely remain stable for long.
Tyler Perry continues as creator, writer, director and executive producer of the Netflix drama, which began with Kimmie crossing paths with the wealthy family behind a successful cosmetics dynasty and gradually discovering the corruption, violence and trafficking network hidden beneath their glamorous public image.
Season 3 now turns that relationship upside down.
Instead of trying to escape the Bellaries, Kimmie has become part of their power structure. The question is whether she can change the system from within — or whether surviving at the top will require her to become increasingly like the people she once fought against.
All eight episodes of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black Season 3 premiere globally on Netflix on August 27, 2026.
The Bellarie story will not end there, with Netflix already confirming that the series will return for a fourth season.
