You, Me, Us Trailer: Love Faces Its Biggest Test on Netflix

Netflix has released the official trailer for You, Me, Us, a new Italian romantic dramedy exploring the complicated realities of love, relationships and starting a family.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Daniele Luchetti, the film stars Elio Germano as Simone and Maria Chiara Giannetta as Lucia, a couple whose personalities and outlooks on life could hardly be more different.

Simone is focused on building a family, while Lucia approaches life with a more free-spirited attitude. Despite their contrasting backgrounds and frequent disagreements, their relationship survives through constant negotiation, compromise and plenty of humour.

However, when the couple decides to pursue adoption, their relationship faces an entirely new challenge. As the process unfolds, deeply buried fears, personal insecurities and conflicting expectations begin to emerge, forcing both partners to reconsider what love and commitment really mean.

The supporting cast includes Anna Bonaiuto, Ilaria Spada, Caterina Guzzanti and Filippo Nigro, adding further depth to the film's exploration of family dynamics and modern relationships.

Combining heartfelt drama with observational comedy, You, Me, Us promises an intimate story about accepting differences, embracing change and discovering that building a future together sometimes means becoming a better version of yourself.

The film was also presented at the Rome Film Festival in October 2026, ahead of its streaming debut.

You, Me, Us premieres on Netflix on October 29, 2026.
