Johnny Depp is heading back to sea — although this is definitely no pirate adventure.
Day Drinker stars Madelyn Cline as a bartender aboard a private yacht who encounters a mysterious passenger played by Depp. Their meeting soon pulls both of them into the orbit of a dangerous criminal figure played by Penélope Cruz, while the trailer suggests there may be much more connecting the three than any of them initially reveal.
Directed by The Amazing Spider-Man filmmaker Marc Webb, the thriller reunites Depp and Cruz after Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Murder on the Orient Express. Day Drinker arrives exclusively in theaters on March 26, 2027.
