The new Black Doves Season 2 trailer finds Keira Knightley’s Helen closer to the centre of British power than ever — just as her handler Reed disappears after becoming caught in a plot threatening the organisation itself. That sends Helen back to Ben Whishaw’s Sam, who isn’t doing much better: the former elite assassin has fallen into low-level hits and a dangerous arrangement with a mysterious new player.
Sarah Lancashire and Andrew Buchan return, while Ambika Mod joins as anarchic Black Doves agent Laila and Neve Campbell appears as U.S. defence envoy Cecile Mason. With loyalties collapsing and Helen and Sam forced back together, Season 2 looks ready to make its favourite murderous friendship even messier. Black Doves returns to Netflix on November 5, 2026.
