Some movie moments stay with audiences long after the credits roll. Pixar has shared an official clip from Coco, revisiting one of the animated film's most emotional scenes as Miguel helps his great-grandmother reconnect with a treasured childhood memory.

Titled Mama Coco Remembers, the clip captures the powerful moment when Miguel performs "Remember Me", a song that holds a deeply personal connection to Coco's father, Héctor.

As the familiar melody reaches her, Coco begins recalling memories of her childhood and the father she has missed for decades. What begins as a quiet musical performance becomes a moving reminder of how music can preserve family connections across generations.

Released in 2017, Coco follows 12-year-old Miguel, voiced by Anthony Gonzalez, whose passion for music leads him into the extraordinary Land of the Dead.

There, he befriends Héctor (Gael García Bernal) and gradually uncovers the truth about his family's history, discovering why music was forbidden in his household.

Directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina, the Academy Award-winning film celebrates Mexican culture, family traditions and the importance of remembering loved ones.

The song Remember Me, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Nearly a decade after its original release, this unforgettable scene continues to capture the emotional heart of Pixar's beloved adventure.

Coco is available to stream on Disney+.
