Minimum Wage Turns a Pizza Job Into Total Chaos

Netflix’s Minimum Wage takes the viral American High comedy into a full series, following a spectacularly underpaid group of teenagers trying to survive school, customers and one deeply chaotic pizza shop.

Working at a pizza shop for minimum wage already sounds exhausting. Minimum Wage has decided the obvious solution is to make absolutely everything about it worse.

Netflix’s new workplace comedy follows a group of teenagers attempting to keep their local pizzeria functioning while simultaneously dealing with school, demanding customers, ridiculous managers and the general indignity of being paid as little as legally possible.

The series expands the popular American High Shorts sketches that have accumulated millions of views across social media. Rather than losing their rapid-fire style in the move to Netflix, Minimum Wage keeps things deliberately short and chaotic, turning disastrous shifts, petty workplace arguments and teenage boredom into bite-sized episodes.

Aidan Micho, Grace Reiter, Hyde Healy, Julia Dicesare, Luke Burke, Ryan Micho and Tommy Armstrong return from the original shorts. Randall Park also joins the madness as Mr. Sylvester, the eccentric owner whose appearance creates a new problem for the employees: somehow making the struggling pizza shop profitable.

The trailer has plenty of mockumentary energy, from disastrous delivery promises and freezer pranks to customers who probably aren’t worth whatever anyone behind the counter is earning.

Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps serve as creators and showrunners, with American High producing.

Minimum Wage premieres October 26, 2026 exclusively on Netflix.
