Middle-earth is descending into darkness as Sauron moves closer to ultimate power. Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3, offering a dramatic look at the escalating war and the creation of the legendary One Ring.

Set five years after the fall of Eregion, the new season follows Sauron (Charlie Vickers) as his armies spread across Middle-earth, threatening the survival of Elves, Dwarves and Men.

The trailer reveals Sauron's increasingly powerful armoured form and his terrifying Ring-servants, while teasing the long-awaited forging of the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom.

Meanwhile, Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) faces new challenges as she reunites with her long-lost husband, Celeborn, played by newcomer Jamie Campbell Bower.

Elsewhere, tensions within Khazad-dûm intensify as the Dwarves confront the consequences of awakening the Balrog, while political divisions threaten to plunge Númenor into civil war.

Daniel Weyman's Gandalf also steps further into his role as a powerful wizard, facing growing darkness in the eastern lands of Rhûn.

Returning cast members include Robert Aramayo, Benjamin Walker, Owain Arthur, Ismael Cruz Córdova and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, alongside new additions to the expanding Middle-earth ensemble.

Created by showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, the third season promises sweeping battles, dangerous alliances and a defining chapter in Tolkien's Second Age.

The Rings of Power Season 3 premieres on Prime Video on November 11, 2026, with four episodes, followed by two episodes on November 18 and the final two on November 25.
