Spider-Man: Brand New Day – Peter Parker's World Turns Grey

Peter Parker may have saved the world, but the world no longer remembers him. A video titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The World Is Grey revisits the emotional premise of Tom Holland's latest Marvel adventure.

Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter is forced to build a new life after Doctor Strange's spell erases his identity from the memories of everyone who knew him.

His closest friends, MJ and Ned, have moved forward without him, leaving Peter to operate as Spider-Man without the personal relationships that once kept him grounded.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows Peter as he dedicates himself to fighting crime across New York City. However, the pressure of isolation and his responsibilities as a superhero begin to trigger a mysterious transformation.

The film reunites Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, while introducing new challenges through characters portrayed by Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando and Tramell Tillman.

Rather than simply continuing Peter's earlier adventures, the story explores what happens when being Spider-Man becomes his entire identity.

The title The World Is Grey captures the melancholy surrounding a hero who protects people who no longer recognise him.

Whether through action, sacrifice or the possibility of reconnecting with his past, Peter's journey remains centred on one defining question: what does it mean to be a hero when nobody remembers the person behind the mask?

Spider-Man: Brand New Day was released in cinemas on July 31, 2026, and became available digitally on October 6.
