Dune: Part Three Final Trailer Teases Paul's Fall and Ultimate Betrayal
Timothée Chalamet's Paul Atreides faces rebellion, betrayal and a deadly conspiracy in the final trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Three, arriving in cinemas this December.
The reign of Paul Atreides is approaching its darkest hour. Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for Dune: Part Three, offering an explosive new look at the concluding chapter of Denis Villeneuve's acclaimed science-fiction trilogy.
Inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah, the film takes place nearly two decades after Paul's rise to power. Now ruling the Imperium as Emperor, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) faces growing rebellion, political conspiracies and the devastating consequences of his own decisions.
The new footage reveals a universe increasingly divided by Paul's rule, with former allies questioning his authority and powerful enemies plotting his downfall.
Zendaya returns as Chani, whose complicated relationship with Paul remains central to the story. Meanwhile, Florence Pugh's Princess Irulan occupies a politically significant position within the Imperial court.
One of the most intriguing additions is Robert Pattinson as Scytale, a mysterious figure connected to the Bene Tleilax, whose dangerous schemes threaten the Emperor's future.
The returning ensemble includes Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson and Anya Taylor-Joy, bringing together familiar characters for the trilogy's dramatic conclusion.
The final trailer showcases enormous desert battles, sandworms, political intrigue and the increasingly ruthless nature of Paul's leadership.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, from a screenplay co-written with Brian K. Vaughan, the film also features another score from composer Hans Zimmer.
With its combination of spectacular action and morally complex storytelling, Dune: Part Three promises to explore the ultimate price of power and prophecy.
Dune: Part Three arrives in US cinemas and IMAX on December 18, 2026, with international releases beginning December 16.
