The Gilded Age Season 4 Weeks Ahead Trailer Teases New Power Struggles

New York's most powerful families are discovering that social success comes at a price. HBO Max has released a Weeks Ahead trailer for The Gilded Age Season 4, teasing the rivalries, romantic complications and shifting alliances still to come.

With the fourth season now underway, the new footage offers a glimpse of the consequences facing Bertha Russell (Carrie Coon) after her ambitious campaign to secure her family's position in high society.

Although Bertha has achieved remarkable social influence, her relationship with husband George Russell (Morgan Spector) is increasingly strained. Their marriage faces serious challenges as the consequences of her decisions become impossible to ignore.

Meanwhile, Agnes van Rhijn (Christine Baranski) sees an opportunity to reclaim her former standing within New York's traditional elite, potentially reigniting the rivalry between old money and new wealth.

Marian Brook (Louisa Jacobson) continues forging her own path, while Peggy Scott (Denée Benton) faces difficult questions about her future and her acceptance into her prospective husband's family.

Created by Julian Fellowes, the acclaimed writer behind Downton Abbey, the series continues exploring ambition, class, family loyalty and the changing social landscape of 1880s America.

Returning cast members include Cynthia Nixon, Taissa Farmiga and Harry Richardson, alongside an expanding ensemble of historical and fictional figures.

With personal relationships under pressure and social alliances constantly shifting, the latest trailer suggests that the battle for influence is far from over.

The Gilded Age Season 4 is now airing weekly on HBO and HBO Max in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
