Way of the Warrior Kid Trailer: Chris Pratt Teaches a Boy Real Courage

Chris Pratt is trading superhero battles for a different kind of mission in the official trailer for Way of the Warrior Kid, an uplifting Apple Original Film about courage, resilience and discovering your own strength.

Based on the bestselling novel by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink, the film follows Marc (Jude Hill), a middle school student who struggles with bullying, schoolwork, sports and making friends.

Marc's difficult life begins to change when his uncle Jake (Chris Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL recovering from an injury, comes to spend the summer with him and his mother, Sarah (Linda Cardellini).

Determined to help his nephew develop confidence, Jake creates an ambitious training programme called Operation Warrior Kid, drawing on the discipline and principles of his military background.

But rather than teaching Marc how to win fights, Jake encourages him to develop physical fitness, emotional resilience and the courage to face his fears.

As Marc begins to transform, his uncle must also confront personal challenges of his own, creating an unexpected opportunity for both characters to grow.

Directed by McG, whose previous credits include Charlie's Angels and Terminator Salvation, the film features a screenplay by Will Staples.

The supporting cast includes Ava Torres, Levi McConaughey, Darien Sills-Evans, Carl McDowell and Parker Young, with author Jocko Willink also appearing.

Combining humour, family relationships and an inspiring coming-of-age story, Way of the Warrior Kid explores the idea that genuine strength comes from discipline, kindness and perseverance rather than intimidation.

Way of the Warrior Kid premieres globally on Apple TV on November 25, 2026.
